Mother of two.

I moved to the United States in 2004.

I took MusicTogether® classes with my child in Seattle in 2009 and 2013.

Upon returning to Japan in May 2016, I obtained my instructor qualifications.

I have been teaching classes as an instructor since 2017.

After working as an instructor at Music Together Allegro, I opened a classroom in Shibuya in April 2023.

 

 

How I learned about Music Together

My friend invited me to take my daughter to a trial lesson in Seattle, USA.

I was so moved when my shy daughter approached the teacher and started dancing with her that I decided to enroll her in the class.

I also participated in the class when my youngest child was born, and it really brightened up the gloomy Seattle winter mood.

I loved the atmosphere in the class where not only the children but also the adults were smiling, singing, and dancing.

When I got home, seeing the children suddenly start singing songs they'd learned that day or tapping out rhythms taught me that music is something to be enjoyed freely in everyday life, rather than something with complicated theory.

I want to share such wonderful moments with many families.
